Average weather and climate in Samoa
The weather in Samoa can be called tropical. You will find year round sunshine with temperatures rarely dropping below 27 degrees Celsius (80 degrees Fahrenheit) by day and sea temperatures averaging around 24 degrees Celsius (75° Fahrenheit).
Summer begins in December and lasts until April. During this time it is hot and humid, 31° Celsius (87° Fahrenheit) by day, with bright sunny mornings and often late afternoon downpours. This is also called the 'wet season'. By the beginning of May, a slightly cooler climate sets in with cooling trade winds from the south east. Temperatures however are still comfortably warm by day (28° Celsius) and night (23° Celsius).
