Average weather and climate in Lithuania
Lithuania has a climate mid-way between maritime and continental. The weather is changeable, summers are cool to mild and rather wet with many cloudy days. Winter temperatures are usually below freezing and are very cold, average monthly temperatures usually dropping below freezing. The weather is unstable and changeable all year round. Rainfall is fairly frequent all year round, but there are more rainy days on the coast than inland. Summer is the wettest season and cloudy skies are common.
